(St. John’s, NL – March 12, 2024) Today marks 15 years since Flight 491 crashed in the waters off Newfoundland and Labrador, resulting in the loss of 17 of the 18 people on board. Energy NL remembers these individuals, the survivor, as well as the family and friends who lost a loved one on that tragic day.

This evening, Eastern Chaplaincy will host the Annual Memorial Service for Flight 491 at 7:00 p.m. NST at Elim Pentecostal Tabernacle, 565 Kenmount Road, St. John’s, NL. All are welcome to attend, and a livestream of the service will be available here.
