Energy NL advocates for east coast Canada’s energy industry on issues important to its members.  During 2020, the association has focused on advocating to the federal and provincial governments for support for our offshore industry as it deals with the challenges of COVID-19 and a drastic decline in oil prices. This 2018 report report evaluates the economic impact of Newfoundland and Labrador’s offshore oil and gas industry now and projects the potential increase in economic impact in the province and across the country if the Advance 2030 production targets are achieved.
