St. John’s, NL – April 28, is National Day of Mourning – a day to remember workers who have been killed or injured in the workplace.
Noia Board Director Karen Winsor participated in today’s ceremony at the Confederation Building and laid a wreath on behalf of the Board and the Association’s 600 members.
“One workplace accident is one too many,” said Robert Cadigan, Noia President & CEO. “Safety is a top priority for those working in the province’s harsh offshore waters and a strong safety culture has become a hallmark of the oil & gas industry in Newfoundland and Labrador.”
