New Board of Directors Begins Tenure at Energy NL

(St. John’s, NL – April 15, 2026)

Energy NL today held its Annual General Meeting in St. John’s. Along with the new Chair and Vice Chair assuming their roles, results of member elections were announced and six new members joined the Board of Directors.

Brad Forsey, Director, Business Development with The Cahill Group, began a one-year term as Chair of the Board of Directors. Stephanie Maloney, Vice President of Strategy & Stakeholder Engagement with Green Infrastructure Partners (GIP), was acclaimed as Vice Chair. Each year, the previous Vice Chair assumes the role of Chair. Susan Collins, Vice President Business Development with PF Collins International Trade Solutions was acclaimed as Treasurer. Richard Mandeville, President of Yeomanry Consulting, moves into the role of Past Chair.

This year, 11 candidates stood for election for six vacant Director positions. Directors serve a two
year term. The successful candidates were:
• Erin Gillis – Director, Business Development & Client Relations, DF Barnes;
• Philip Harrington – Director of Group Operations, NSB-Omega;
• Gillian Pearson – VP Partnerships and Client Relations Lead, Robot Interactive + Marketing Ltd. and Engage Technologies;
• Stephen Penton – Director, Engineering Consultancy, Aker Solutions Canada;
• Glen Walbourne – Industrial Service Manager, Crosbie; and,
• Barry Yetman – VP Eastern Canada, Wood.

Members of the new Board of Directors commence their role immediately and join Emily McNamara, Corporate Controller with Horizon Maritime Services Ltd. and Karen Perry, Mechanical Engineer with Hatch, who begin their second years as directors.

I will focus on ensuring local content and local benefits are key to all energy projects in Newfoundland and Labrador and I will work with our members to ensure their skills and expertise are leading those projects. I look forward to working with my board colleagues and I am proud to say both the Board of Directors and the Executive Committee have achieved gender parity, an important milestone for our association.”

During the AGM, Energy NL also acknowledged the following outgoing board members for their dedicated service:
• Jeremy Whittle (Crosbie), Past Chair
• Beth McGrath (McInnes Cooper), Director
• Andrew Short (Integrated Logistics), Director

Energy NL represents over 500 member organizations worldwide which are involved in the energy sector. Members are active in all areas of the supply and service sector and include a diverse representation of businesses that range from offshore supply vessels and helicopters, carbon reduction and sustainable technologies, health and safety equipment and training, engineering solutions and fabricators to law firms and human resource agencies.
