Energy NL Conference & Exhibition 2025 Begins Tomorrow

(St. John’s, NL – June 2, 2025) Energy NL is ready to welcome delegates, exhibitors, and speakers to the Energy NL Conference & Exhibition 2025, beginning tomorrow at the St. John’s Convention Centre.

Themed Decades of Experience: Built for Success, with over 30 speakers and an onsite exhibition space that will highlight the unique capabilities of almost 70 Energy NL members, conference sessions will explore the Newfoundland and Labrador energy sector, its place in the global energy market, and the factors contributing to its success and potential challenges.

On Tuesday, June 3, the conference begins at 8:30 a.m. with an address by the Honourable Steve Crocker, Minister of Industry, Energy and Innovation and Minister Responsible for Trade Opportunities, followed by an update from Kerry Moreland, President of ExxonMobil Canada. The first session of the day follows and includes Mark Oberstoetter, Head of Americas Upstream Research, Wood Mackenzie, Jim Keating, CEO, OilCo, and Susan Wilkins, Executive Director, Renewable Energy, Government of Newfoundland and Labrador.

Session Two will begin at 10:30 a.m. and feature a look at the Memorandum of Understanding for hydroelectric developments on the Churchill River and opportunities for Energy NL members to maximize their participation in these substantive and complex projects.
