Unifor Local 2121, which represents workers in the offshore oil & gas industry, is organizing a rally to support the offshore.
Scheduled for Wednesday, September 16 from 12:00 – 2:00 p.m. at Confederation Building, the rally will start in the west parking lot (closest to the College of the North Atlantic). Unifor is asking people to arrive at 11:30 a.m. so that COVID-19 safety protocols can be appropriately implemented.
Carpooling is encouraged, if possible, as well as use of company vehicles to demonstrate support for our industry.
Noia CEO Charlene Johnson has accepted an invitation to address the rally and encourages all Noia members to attend as a large attendance will send a strong message to our political leaders that the province’s offshore needs support.
