Noia, the Newfoundland Growlers and St. John’s Edge are excited to announce a collaborative effort to highlight the importance of the Newfoundland and Labrador offshore oil & gas industry. An “I ❤️ NL Oil & Gas” logo will be featured on the ice by the Growlers and on the court by the Edge for two games in March.
On Saturday, March 9th at 7:00 p.m. the North Division-leading Growlers faceoff against the Orlando Solar Bears in exciting ECHL action and the logo will be placed near centre ice. On Sunday, March 17th at 2:00 p.m. Central Division leaders St. John’s Edge take on the Saint John Riptide and the logo will be placed court side.
Both games will highlight the importance of our offshore oil & gas industry to Newfoundland and Labrador, and indeed Canada. Noia member companies are supporting these events in a big way by purchasing over 3,500 tickets to date. Noia is hosting social media contests to promote the industry. Follow Noia’s social media platforms (@NoiaNL on Twitter & Facebook) leading up to the games for a chance to win game tickets and learn about our industry.
Noia recently released an economic impact study which demonstrates the profound value of our offshore oil & gas industry to the province and country.
