Noia Oil & Gas Conference 2018 Luncheons Registration Available

The Newfoundland and Labrador Oil & Gas Industries Association (Noia) will host its 34th annual oil & gas conference from June 18-21, 2018 at the St. John’s Convention Centre. Noia announced today that registration for the keynote luncheons opens for sale to the general public on Wednesday, June 13, 2018.

The Noia Oil & Gas Conference is Canada’s flagship offshore oil & gas industry information event, attracting global oil & gas industry leaders as both speakers and delegates. Themed Redefining Oil: The Time is Now, the 2018 conference will once again deliver the latest updates on exploration, development and production activities in Canada’s offshore oil & gas industry.

Three conference keynote luncheons will be held, featuring speakers with important and varying perspectives on the offshore oil & gas industry and the global energy sector.

Tuesday, June 19, Brad Wall, special advisor at Osler, Hoskin & Harcourt and former Premier of Saskatchewan, will speak to “Canadian Competitiveness in the Global Oil & Gas Sector.”
Wednesday, June 20, Deborah Yedlin, Calgary Herald business and energy columnist, will provide commentary on “Innovation, Trends and Challenges in Canada’s Oil & Gas Sector.” Ms. Yedlin becomes Chancellor of the University of Calgary July 1, 2018.
Thursday, June 21, John Risley, director with Horizon Maritime Services, will provide the final keynote luncheon address.
Each luncheon session begins at 12:45 p.m. Registration is required to attend the keynote luncheons and can be completed online.
