The Outstanding Contribution Award recognizes exemplary individuals who have influenced the development of our local oil & gas industry and who have demonstrated qualities of vision, integrity and leadership through their work and lives. Noia is pleased to award this honour to Bill Fanning, President and Country Manager, Kvaerner Canada. For five years Bill was a member of the Noia Board of Directors and was a key leader in the development of Noia’s Redefining Oil strategy.

The Rising Star Award was launched in 2014 to recognize the talents of an impressive individual who is 40 years old or younger and has made remarkable strides in their role in the local oil & gas industry. This year’s recipient is Stephen Edwards, P.Eng, Engineering & HUC Manager – Hebron Project with ExxonMobil Canada Ltd. Stephen has been directly involved in the Hebron project since joining the project team in 2010. Both Bill Fanning and Stephen Edwards will be celebrated at Noia’s Industry Achievement Awards luncheon on March 9, 2018. The event will also acknowledge organizations marking 30 or more years as Noia members and contributors to the local oil & gas industry.
