Navitas Petroleum Ltd. to Present at 2017 Noia Oil & Gas Conference

St. John’s, NL (May 2, 2017) — The Newfoundland and Labrador Oil & Gas Industries Association (Noia) is pleased to announce that this year’s oil & gas conference will feature a presentation from Navitas Petroleum Ltd. – one of our offshore oil & gas industry’s newest entrants.

The Noia Oil & Gas Conference is Canada’s flagship offshore oil & gas industry information event, attracting global oil & gas industry leaders as both speakers and delegates. Themed Offshore Newfoundland: Relevant, Untapped & Resilient, the 2017 conference will once again deliver the latest updates on exploration, production and development activities in Canada’s offshore oil & gas industry and offer over 1,000 delegates the opportunity to partake in discussions about timely industry issues and participate in unparalleled networking opportunities.

Peter Mikkelsen, exploration manager with Navitas Petroleum, will speak about the company’s background, as well as provide highlights of their extensive deepwater Israel experience. He will also provide insight into why Navitas chose to pursue opportunities in the West Orphan Basin and outline initial indications of potential on EL 1147 and the Piccadilly Prospect. This presentation, “From Tamar to Piccadilly – Replicating Deepwater East Mediterranean Success in Offshore NL,” will take place on Wednesday, June 21 at 11:00 a.m. at the St. John’s Convention Centre.
