(St. John’s, NL – February 15, 2023) Yesterday in Georgetown, Guyana, Energy NL CEO Charlene Johnson joined Anand Beharry, Chair of the Canada Guyana Chamber of Commerce, to sign a Memorandum of Understanding (MOU) between the two organizations. The MOU will help enhance market access for members interested in participating in the energy sectors of both regions.
“As one of the world’s fastest growing economies led by a thriving energy sector, Guyana is an important market for Energy NL members seeking to share their decades of knowledge and experience in the energy sector, specifically the offshore oil and gas sector. With such a dynamic economy, this MOU with the Canada Guyana Chamber of Commerce will also allow energy NL members to understand and participate in opportunities outside of the traditional offshore energy sector and engage in the broader Guyanese economy. Similarly, the MOU will benefit members of the Canada Guyana Chamber of Commerce as they will gain knowledge and access to the evolving Newfoundland and Labrador energy sector and the numerous opportunities it provides.”
