(St. John’s, NL – February 14, 2025) Energy NL joins members of the energy sector and all Newfoundlanders and Labradorians as we remember the tragic loss of 84 crew members of the Ocean Ranger.
“Reflecting on the 43rd year since the tragic loss of 84 crew members of the Ocean Ranger, we are once again reminded of the harsh realities of working offshore. As we remember those lost and the long-lasting impact upon their loved ones, we also recognize the ongoing commitment within our industry to prioritize the safety of all who work in the energy sector, both offshore and onshore. This commitment honours the memory of the 84 lives lost in the Ocean Ranger tragedy and ensures they are never, ever, forgotten.”
• Charlene Johnson, Energy NL CEO
