Noia is pleased to announce historian and independent journalist Gwynne Dyer as a Keynote Luncheon Speaker at its 2016 Oil & Gas Conference.
A native of Newfoundland and Labrador, Gwynne Dyer has worked as a freelance journalist, columnist, broadcaster and lecturer on international affairs for more than 20 years.
In addition to his television series and radio documentaries, Mr. Dyer’s columns appear regularly in Canada, the United States and around the world. He is also the author of numerous bestselling books, his most recent being “Crawling from the Wreckage”, which traces the world’s halting emergence from the dark tunnel of the past decade, a time marked by exaggerated fears of terrorism, futile and unnecessary wars in the Middle East, neglect of climate change and financial near-collapse.
Delegates will have the opportunity to hear from Mr. Dyer in what is sure to be an intriguing and thought provoking session on Day 3 of the conference. The Keynote Luncheon, “Don’t Panic: ISIS, Terror, Oil and the New Middle East” will take place on Thursday, June 23, at 1:00 p.m.
Gwynne Dyer joins outed CIA Agent Valerie Plame as an announced Keynote Luncheon Speaker for this year’s industry-leading conference.
The Noia Oil & Gas Conference 2016 will once again offer the most current information from the oil & gas industry in Newfoundland and Labrador’s offshore.
